Rated to 500whp, this Justice Racing Engines Performance Street shortblock package provides the foundation for building a solid high performance street engine.

Your crankshaft is inspected for damage and straightness. Then Magnaflux crack inspected, mic’d for size, computer balanced and micropolished.

Your cylinder block is visually inspected for damage and stripped threaded holes. The head gasket surface is decked true to the crank centerline, a billet deck plate is installed for bore, hone and line honing operations in our Rottler computer-controlled CNC machines.

JRE blueprint/clearance includes setting piston ring gaps, bearing clearances, match weigh piston/pins, to Justice Racing Engines specifications. Piston domes, rings, bearings, connecting rods, and machined block surfaces are deburred and prepped for final ultrasonic cleaning and assembly. All shortblocks include a detailed spec and assembly sheet.

The Performace Street Shortblock Includes:

• JRE-spec / CP piston kit including wrist pins, locks, piston rings
• JRE-spec / Manley H-beam 4340 connecting rods with ARP2000 bolts
• ACL Race-series bearings, individually selected for proper clearances
